"I was just thinking about how I am getting most of my business through my website now. This saves me a lot of money, as any other form of advertising is a lot more expensive. My website attracts exactly the kind of customer I wish for. They contact me because they like what they read on the site. Many, many people have told me how much they like my site, so thank you so much for helping me create it. It has turned out to be one of the best business decisions I have ever made."

case studiesour clients come from varied backgrounds requiring various levels of service from us. Some need to test the waters before committing to a larger endeavor; others only need a few pages to announce their business; and some need an e-commerce site from the get-go. Whatever the case may be, we work closely with the client to determine exact needs so that we can recommend the best course of action without unnecessary and often expensive "bells & whistles." case study #1the client approached us in 1997, realizing that a web site would be beneficial, but not sure where to start or what to put on it. After interviewing her and what she needed most at the time, we decided that basic information about her company would serve her best. The first site we designed for her consisted of a few pages, highlighting a few products, and providing an order form for her print catalog. Since money is always an issue for a growing company, this site was initially kept to a bare minimum, with no ordering capabilities. It soon became apparent that customers were looking for more. Successive incarnations of the site included more products and the addition of a shopping cart. However, the complexities of her product lines and shipping schemes made it clear that "canned script" carts were not going to do the job for her. Luckily, in 2001, we discovered the Aestiva HTMLOS environment, and her first fully functional shopping site was born. Being able to program any variation into the cart, for example, things like "if it's this type of product, don't ship it to this state and show an error message", provided a great boon to the site. The client is now running a full-fledged, custom-programmed e-commerce site generating thousands of orders for her seasonal business and growing every year. case study #2this client contacted us about a basic web site that would explain her dog training business and methods to potential customers and to offer basic training advice and resources. Being based in Nevada, together we chose a soft-hued "western" theme. She would not be selling anything online, so no shopping cart was needed. We discussed the structure of the site, and the client then provided us with the appropriate content, to which she has us add as necessary. Her web site has become instrumental in attracting the kinds of clients she likes to work with. just what are our services |
